    Feuerleiter - Hausalarm - Bedienstelle für Entrauchung

    Context/ examples
    Ich benötige die Begriffe für die Legende eines Fluchtwegplanes (Feuerwehr), mit einem "Beispiel" in dem Sinne tu ich mich daher etwas schwer ;-)

    Was ist denn ein "Hausalarm"? Reicht "fire alarm"? Oder hat es auch mit "burglar alarm" zu tun?

    mit Hausalarm ist mehr ein hausinterner Alarm gemeint. "Fire Alarm" ist nach meinem Verständnis ein Alarm, der der Feuerwehr gemeldet wird. "Alarm" alleine ist mir allerdings zu wenig...

    Die "Bedienstelle für Entrauchung" ist übrigens nicht viel mehr als eine kleine Steuerung, über die die Entlüftung geregelt wird...

    look at that, the second posting was 43 minutes later! Das war ich nicht.

    A "fire alarm" may or may not be linked to the fire service. The main purpose is to warn people of a fire and get them out of the building.

    We are talking about a "smoke extraction system". Don't know offhand what the "Bedienstelle" is called. Try Google.
