    Your's is too literal, Georgina. -
    The phrase:
    "Und wenn sie nicht gestorben sind, dann leben sie noch heute"
    is the ending of German fairy-tales.

    So Werner was right on-point with his suggestion:

    "... and they lived happily ever after."
