    ich suche schon lange eine gebräuchliche Übersetzung für Trainerhose und Trainerjacke.

    Ich weiss nicht ob das ein nur in der Schweiz gebräuchlicher Ausdruck ist, jedenfalls beschreibt ein 'Trainer' ein 2-teiliges Kleidungsstück (Jacke und Hose) das für Sport aber auch sonst oft getragen wird. Meist aus synthetischem Material und oft mit Streifen auf der Seite (z.b adidas)

    Falls Du eine Uebersetzung ins deutsche brauchst, dann trifft's wohl "Trainingshose" m besten ;-)

    Auf englisch heisst das dann "track pants" und "track suit".

    Wenn Du eine deutsche Entsprechung für diese beiden Kleidungsstücke suchst... bei uns im fast norddeutschen Raum ist "Trainingsanzug" sehr gebräuchlich für alles, was man zum Sport und auch insbesondere zum Fußballtraining anzieht. Ist auch im Leo.

    In Irland heissen diese Hosen "Jog Pants" und werden keinenfalls nur zum Sport getragen, sondern sind bei gewissen Teilen der Bevölkerung absolut übliche Alltagskleidung. Sie werden auch in "üblichen" Kleiderläden in grosser Auswahl angeboten.

    @Timon: was dir die Smileys sagen wollten (aber evtl. nicht deutlich ausgedrückt haben): ein Traineranzug oder eine Trainerhose wäre in Deutschland (und auch in Österreich) die Kleidung eines Sporttrainers. Der Typus wird hier eher mit Trainings- angezeigt.
