    - Da ich das Wort, wie ich es oben geschrieben haben, weder in Wikipedia noch hier im Leo finden kann, habe ich mich gefragt, ob ich es eventuell falsch geschrieben habe. bzw was es bedeutet, wenn man es SO "pledoe" schreibt und nicht plädoye.
    danke schonmal im Voraus

    or a scanner error for "pledge" ... what language is the source and did you read the word or hear it, or just make it up?
