Ich weiß nicht welche der beiden Bedeutungen du als "herömmlich" bezeichnest, denn die eine ist die "ursprüngliche", die andere ist gebräuchlicher.

No, 'randy' is not commonly used in the US - only if someone does a fake British accent or an Austin Powers impersonation.

Randy is not common any more in the UK, at least not to mean that they are excited. Most people nowadays would say they're horny if they're turned on, or use it as an adjective for someone who is attractive. Thus "she is horny" could mean either "she is sexually excited" or "she is attractive" in current BE usage. People do still say randy, but usually only when talking about someone who is addicted to sex, with the phrase "He's a randy old bugger!" or similar.

I suspect Saturn means "I'm the dog's danglies!", but as he doesn't give any clarification, my guess is as good as anyone else's.
