die lustigste und nicht gerade hilfreichste Antwort fand ich war:

"schau mal im Katalog nach"... ich glaube, cable duct ist das "universellste" Wort dafür.

suche ich auch gerade, aber gemeint ist bei mir nicht der Kabelkanal (= cable duct). Eine Kabelleiste ist ein Teil (LT. Bild), auf dem mehrere Kabelbündeln mit Kabelbindern befestigt sind (dies kopmmen dann in den Kabelkanal)

a Kabelleiste is a metal plate which you would use for tying down bundled cables and routing them in parallel with one another, hence I`d call it a cable mounting track, as distinct from a cable mounting plate (Kabelbefestigungsplatte)

Well this is the "official" word for it. Stangely enough I already put that in before but it seems, that it was deleted.
