It occurred to me to use "service elevator" as it "services the event areas only and is not used by the public. Since there are service entrances, why not service elevator?

You're right Scott, in that a service elevator does not service an area, however, it is will be used by service personnel and not by the ge´neral public, and since I'm at a loss for something better at the moment...

A "DURCHLADER" IS A LIFT THAT CAN OPEN TO BOTH SIDES. SO ONE CAN ENTER ONE SIDE AND EXIT TEH OPPOSITE SIDE.
