    Ich bin verwirrt. Laut Leo und den Diskussionsforen müsste eine deutsche Billion engl. trillion sein. Ist ein Billionär dann ein trillionaire? Mein Rechtsschreibprogramm will davon nichts wissen, aber das irrt sich ja öfter...

    Und macht es einen Unterschied, ob es BE oder AE ist? Ich bräuchte in diesem Fall AE.

    Es ist verwirrend, ich muss auch nach Jahren immer noch zweimal hinschauen, wenn ich deutsche Bezeichnungen lese.

    million = Million
    billion = Milliarde
    trillion = Billion
    quadrillion = Billiarde
