Not in commercial correspondence...in case that you do it

The 'yours' in 'Yours* sincerely' is a noun and is normally followed by another noun as in Yours Sincerely,Joe Bloggs.Two nouns in apposition are separated by a comma,whether in business or not.

Man macht nach "Yours sincerely/faithfully" nur ein Komma, wenn man auch nach der Anrede "Dear Sir/Madam" oder "Dear Mr/Mrs/Ms" ein Komma gesetzt hat.

Der Einfachheit halber würde ich es weglassen!

In official and business correspondence (banks, govt. departments etc.) in the UK there is no comma after the salutation and the first word of the text begins with a capital letter. I have letters at least ten years old written this way.

Ja! Es wird oft nicht verwendet, trotzdem gehört es nach Rechtschreibregeln dazu.

Das Komma kommt nur im AMerikanischen Brief und nicht in Englischen Briefen, je nach dem wo der Brief hingeschickt wird so verfahren! Im Amerikanischen verwendet man bspw auch nicht Sir or Madam sondern Ladies and/or Gentlemen genauso wie im Br. Englisch kein Punkt (.) nach Mr Mrs oder Ms kommt im AE aber sehr wohl.
