    Three friends hanging around in a diner. One of them seems to be frustrated about anything. And, of course, after saying some blabla-phrases he is shouting - I'm going off the grid!
    How could sound the german line?

    "to go off the grid" heißt wörtlich: vom (Strom-)netz gehen.
    Ich würde etwa übersetzen: "ich klinke mich jetzt aus"
