ich wuerde sagen:

direct translation would be:

Everyone knows everybody and talks about everybody. But that isnt very elegant.

So I'd say: They all know and talk about each other.

oder

Everyone knows and talks about each other.

Here's a rule that will be right about 90% of the time:

Jeder = jeder Mensch = everyone

Jemand = ein Mensch = someone (Someone is here to see you.)

Irgendjemand = irgendwelcher Mensch = anyone (Did anyone see the accident?)

There are many contexts where "someone" and "anyone" are both OK, but if you follow those guidelines, you will be right most of the time.

Ergänzend zu Robnyny erfolgt folgende Regel bei someone/anyone: bei Fragen anyone wird benutzt. Bei allem anderen meist someone. Zumindest ist das die Theorie, in der Praxis werden beide Begriffe aber mehr oder weniger gleich gesetzt.
