    zigarette umgangssprachlich

    wie sagt man umgangsssprchlich in den usa zu einer zigarette?
    ich hab "fag" gefunden, aber das heißt ja auch sowas wie "schwuchtel" --> "faggot"..
    gibts da noch einen anderen ausdruck?

    fag (for a cigarette) is exclusively BE
    for AE, try "smoke" or "coffin nail," e.g.

    "fag" is more BE, we say "I'm having a smoke" as in "eene roochen." :-))

    At least that's what I also use (but BE - don't know about AE).

    "I took your ciggies" sounds fine to me.

    you could also say "I need to buy me some smokes" or "hey, got any smokes on you?" for example
