    Guten Abend,

    in einer Broschüre soll der Slogan erscheinen "auf das richtige Pferd setzen", indem man diese Firma XY wählt statt eines Wettbewerbers. Gibt es einen adäquaten englischen Terminus hierfür, in dem ebenfalls das Pferd vorkommt?

    Bettina, it depends on the size of the chess figure and the representation of the horse's head. But I think in your case "horse" would be the better choice.

    Und im umgekehrten Fall, also "aufs falsche Pferd setzen"? Kann man da "to back the wrong horse verwenden?
