they have a Mother & Baby Room towards the back of the shop. The room is spacious, which means plenty of room for siblings. The changing table is padded and has raised sides for added safety. Boots also provide a bottle warmer, nappies if asked (well, that is what the sign said), an anti bacterial spray, liquid soap, a sink, a curtain for the feeding area and all the advertising blurb you could ever wish to read if you get really bored! The room was a little battered from use but it appeared clean and is brightly, if unusually, decorated. The bright yellow flower cut out in the shape of a butterfly caught my little one's attention. Boots have also covered all unnecessary and low electrical sockets for extra safety. The only problem I had with the room was that the door did not have a lock, and you guessed it, someone walked in on me feeding my child.

Ein "common room" ist ein Raum für die Allgemeinheit zur Nutzung während den pausen (etwa in einer Schule oder Firma). In einer Firma häufig nicht von einem "Raucherraum" zu unterscheiden, soweit nicht anders verordnet), auch mit staff room eng verwandt, nur daß z.B. in einer Schule ein staff room nur für die Lehrer zur Verfügung steht.
Ein "sick room" ist in fast jeder englischen Schule usw. vorhanden, ein Zimmer mit einer Liege & "Erste Hilfe", also Liegeraum.
Ein "mother & baby room" ist ein Raum das für stillende Mütter zur Verfügung gestellt wird, etwa in Kaufhäusern, mit entsprechenden Sitzmöglichkeiten und evtl. auch einen Wickeltisch.
