    Im Sinne von: jemanden in eine bestimmte Richtung zwingen und dabei in Panik versetzen, sodass er nur noch reagieren kann (und das auch noch falsch). Auch ein bisschen von "set the agenda", aber noch ein bisschen mehr vom gehetzten Fuchs dabei.
    Ideen, wie man das auf Englisch ausdrückt?

    Das drückt jemanden vor sich hertreiben im Deutschen mE nicht aus, sondern lediglich, dass man jemanden zwingt zu reagieren. Ohne Richtung, Panik, falsche (wer beurteilt das?) Reaktion.
