Thank you for your help! I also thought of just dropping the of/by. That would be the easiest option. Currently, the paper looks like that:

Final Paper of/by

MY NAME

I still would like to know which preposition is correct. I can find both versions on the internet like "works of author" or "works by author".

Actually, I don't much like Final Paper at all, unless that is exactly what is is supposed to be called for the course (AE class) you are taking. Final sounds, well, very final. As if you will never write another paper in your whole life. Ever. And is it even a paper? Or is it rather an essay, or some other form?
