Comment		Ich poste es hier statt unter 'Wrong Entry', da mich die Terminologie verwirrt. Außerdem finde ich bisher keine Diagnose im Englischen, die sich auf den Grenzwert eines Gewichts der Niere von unter 80g bezieht, lediglich auf eine Schrumpfung von mehr als 1cm. Comment		IMHO “cirrhosis of the kidney” is a candidate for being flagged obsolete (see OP). Outside of ICD-10, I think most cases of modern usage of “contracted kidney” come from NNES sources. And many of the g'hits are e.g. "she contracted kidney disease" or the like. Technical default terms in English these days would be “atrophic kidney” or “renal/kidney atrophy”.
