I find it hard to believe (allen Ernstes) that Ernst suggests this translation! Surely it should be pirate copy, shouldn't it?

'Pirated' is often used as the adjective formed from the verb 'to pirate'; Or 'pirate' can be used to form a compound noun 'pirate copy'.
