I've heard that "Final Cut" can refer to the end of making a film, but can also mean the last blow in the process of killing a person (as in Pink Floyd's album). I am just thinking about a catchy headline for the last chapter of my thesis, which deals with the final defeat of a movement in English intellectual history.
Thought about something like "Mr Bean, the Finale and the Final Cut for English realism". Would that make sense?
