Eichkatze, as stated in the other thread, terpi is a cupious reader and doesn't make those words up.

That said: terpi, the first hits for "brang" on Gargle explain that it's a part tense of "bring" - check it out.

Bacon, all of us at this forum, I hope, want to develop and improve our language skills in English or German (this concerns native speakers as well), not to play antics with some trolls...

    Best regards

Everybody in this forum is free to ask for help if he does not understand a word or sentence. And everybody is free to answer or to just ignore these questions. If you do not like t's questions,Eichkatze, just don't answer.

Eichkatze, at least terpi is a registered troll - one can't say even that much about you. Look who's talking.

Listen, let's stop it here, OK, terpi is not - repeat NOT - a troll, and you don't have any reason to accuse him of that just because you don't understand his questions. As mermaid rightly stated: If you don't want to or can't answer question, shut yer gob, OK?

Neither - I just can't stand people who don't understand or are unable to answer a question accuding the poster of being a troll without reason.

I would not claim 'brang' to be or ever to have been a grammatically correct past tense of the verb,to bring, but I would have heard it used in my much younger days and,if I heard it to-day,would understand it to-day to mean 'brought.

bring brang, hing hang, ring rang, sing sang these may explain where rang comes from, remember a century ago people were mainly only familiar with the spoken word and would have 'invented' their own past tenses for a language that was not their Irish.
So, Eichkatzeas,no offence intended,as we would say here,'Wind your neck back in"
