    Hi,

I just noticed that LEO gives 'rotten apple' as a translation for 'schwarzes Schaf'. It's perfectly correct, but wouldn't a more obvious translation just simply be 'black sheep'?

one of the rare occasions on which I can safely support a suggestion without the requested source material!

    but for the English:

    http://www.bartleby.com/61/53/B0305300.html
    with:
    1. A sheep with black fleece. 2. A member of a family or other group who is considered undesirable or disreputable.
