Desto haeufiger ich versuche es vor mir herzusagen, desto sicherer werde ich mir, dass ich niemals "Es ist so" sagen oder schreiben wuerde, auch wenn es natuerlich grammatikalisch nicht falsch ist.

"So ist es" hat meiner Meinung eine etwas andere Nuance. Es ist eher eine Bestaetigung à la "That's right".

In der Bedeutung als pragmatische Antwort auf "Warum xxx?" schreit (wie Paleo im zitierten Faden auch anmerkte) es fuer mich geradezu nach einem Fuellwort, wobei ich hier sogar noch weiter gehe als er und nicht glaube es ohne Fuellwort in dieser Bedeutung zu benutzen. Alle von hm vorgeschlagenen Variationen unterstuetze ich und schlage ebenfalls noch "halt" vor, das fuer mich nicht umgangssprachlicher klingt als "eben".

Die obige Variante ist nicht unbedingt der beste Vorschlag, wuerde aber in drei Eintraegen alles abdecken und bei einer Suche gefunden werden.
