    in ordinary - im Dienste

    Comment
    Dictionary: im dienste

I have never come across "im Dienste" meaning "in ordinary" (which doesn't make much sense anyway) - I would say this is an entry to be deleted. Or can this pair make sense in some obsure way which is eluding me at the moment?

The term was used in the Royal Navy, though I don't know if it still is.
Here is a quote from the link :

Master attendant: managed the ships in harbour and saw to the maintenance of the ships in Ordinary, i.e. when the ship was laid up.

If this is so, maybe the entry in LEO should be capitalized and/or tagged accordingly?!
