Comment	Das Wort kommt im Zusammenhang mit einem Werkstattbesuch vor. Wenn ein Auto zur Reparatur in die Werkstatt kommt, wird geprüft, ob der Schaden auf Kulanz geht, oder ob der Kunde selber zahlen muss. Nimmt man in diesem Falle wirklich "application"? nicht "enquiry" z.B. So rein vom Gefühl her würde ich eher enquiry o.ä. verwenden. Wie seht ihr das? Vielen Dank!

Comment		Application verwendet man m.E. eher für Antrag. Ich würd hier "request for" verwenden.

Comment		sorry to come back... i just cannot see how you can make a request for goodwill or a goodwill application you might ask if something can be settled as a matter of goodwill... perhaps i am pernickerty
