     Leo hat schon astrakhan (textil.) - Astrachan, der. (was das DWDS übrigens nicht kennt).
    Für Persianer hat Leo nichts, für karakul nur das Schaf, nicht das Fell.

    Die WB-Einträge sind übrigens ziemlich zimperlich - das "beste" Fell hat man von Lammföten, und es wird nicht unbedingt auf Totgeburten ("stillborn") gewartet (zur Info: http://www.hsus.org/wildlife/wildlife_news/as... )

    @spinatwachtel:
    Das mit den Foeten sollte man nicht zu ernst nehmen. Um wirklich an das Fell von Foeten zu gelangen, muesste man das Muttertier toeten. Muttertiere sind jedoch ziemlich wertvoll. Was stattdessen passiert ist, dass man die neugeborenen Laemmchen fuer ihr Fell toetet, am besten noch bevor sie abgenabelt sind.
