    Once more a spelling mishmash.

If this is the philosopher I'm thinking of, I believe the usual spelling of the name in English is Heraclitus, with the adjective Heraclitean. Those are the spellings listed in most dictionaries, so they should be used to translate D>E.

I've occasionally seen the spelling Heracleitus, but it may be sort of a halfway Latin/Greek form. To the best of my knowledge the Greek spelling (or rather, transliteration) is actually Herakleitos.

I've never seen Heracleitean that I recall. Based on w's frequent problems with spelling and typing, I would question whether it was really intended here, and if so, whether it's common enough to be considered a variant rather than just an error. If the former, there may also be a similar variant in German.

Socrates eventually presents no fewer than eleven arguments, not all of which seem seriously intended, against the Protagorean and Heracleitean views.
