Hier eine Meinung ... "whom" ist eigentlich völlig korrekt.

Die meisten würden aber "who" hernehmen, and falsh ist es nicht, m.E. Ist gängiger.

Hier ist kein Beziehungsforum für kleine Dummis.

I'd say

I also have a wonderful man by my side and I love him to bits,

or,

I also have a man at my side who's wonderful and I love him to bits.

'whom' is correct and perhaps a bit formal, while 'love s.o. to bits' is very colloquial, so I don't think they go together.
And I think saying 'I love to bits' without him/her/them in the middle sounds unusual -- though I daresay someone will find several million examples on Google.
