How to save words to the trainer
Tap the list from which you would like to save an entry and open it.
Select the translation of your choice and then "Click to save".
How to synchronise vocabulary
To synchronise your vocabulary, all you need to do is log in with the same login across all your devices.
Don’t have an account? - Register now.
Synchronisation starts automatically as soon as you go to the trainer in your app.
How to start learning
On the trainer start page tap
- Ready, steady, practice if you’d like to dive in and learn words from your wordlists in random order.
- Self-determined vocabulary learning if you’d like to choose the words yourself and then start learning.
- Languages if you’d like to change the language pair (top right).
How to edit wordlists
- Tap Self-determined vocabulary learning
- Select My lists
- Select My words
- Please note: the button at the bottom of the results table lets you toggle between Show all (words) and Show words not yet assigned to a list
- Tap Edit (top right-hand corner)
- Select the words which you would like to include in a list
- At the bottom of the list tap Add word(s) to word list
- Select the target word list
How to create new wordlists
- Tap Self-determined vocabulary learning
- Select My lists
- Tap the "+" sign in the top right-hand corner
- Tap Add word list
- Type a name for the list
How to remove adverts
For those wishing to deactivate adverts in the LEO app we provide an ad-free version for EUR7.49/year. The ad-free version runs on all devices on which you are signed in to the iTunes & App store with the same Apple ID. The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the subscription period. You can manage your subscription in your iTunes Account Settings.
