When I started at university XX in 2005, I hsd the chance to take/participate in? a private trip to Russia and visit Moscow and St.Petersburg. Remembering the great experience of meeting some of the Moscow Jewish community and the atmosphere in St.Petersburg after the orange revolution, your dialogue project in Russia immediately attracted my attention.

I have since visited various European countries (see CV), I like to travel and consider myself to be open-minded. I speak some Russian too, which might be helpful in breaking the ice at first encounters. For all these reasons I think I would be the right person to exchange views with Polish and Ukrainian people/Poles and Ukrainians..

During my internship at the x/with x? I already learned how important it is to conduct a regular dialogue with other European citizens. I think that your project would help me to understand the Russian mentality better and to gain an insight into Russian fears and hopes for the future. In order to extend/advance my knowledge in this field of study I would like to take this opportunity and participate in the Dialogue event in Russia offered by x.
