    I wanted to translate "A1" with "1A", I checked in LEO and only find "erste Klasse" and "hervorragend" for a translation. Am I completely wrong with "1A". What is the difference between the two?

    i heard it being used as slang as in:
    Ill come A1 unglued on him..

    Erstklassig und hervorragend sind beide gehobener als 1A!

    Der Marktschreier kann 1A Eier anpreisen.
    Aber Produkte sollten eher erstklassig sein, finde ich.

    Aber google findet für "1A" sehr viele Firmen, die sich dieses Kürzel als Zusatz gegeben haben.

    Ich finde, dass es etwas billig klingt, aber das ist nur die Meinung eines Einzelnen.

    Also wäre 1A völlig ok.
