Your example sounds basically plausible, but without more context, I very much doubt anyone will dare express an opinion.

A1 means excellent

in A1 excellent condition..A1 Steak sauce..not really.

i heard it being used as slang as in:
Ill come A1 unglued on him..

and..you can use 1A in German for A1

Der Marktschreier kann 1A Eier anpreisen.
Aber Produkte sollten eher erstklassig sein, finde ich.

Aber google findet für "1A" sehr viele Firmen, die sich dieses Kürzel als Zusatz gegeben haben.

Ich finde, dass es etwas billig klingt, aber das ist nur die Meinung eines Einzelnen.

Also wäre 1A völlig ok.
