Brief - letter !

Lily, the letter, while maybe not perfect English was certainly more than understandable.It`s still not perfect English, but maybe a little more understandable.

First of all I'd like to say thank you for the 2 weeks I spent at your house. I had such a great time and it was so interesting to get to know you, Bournemouth and the britisch culture.

I am writing to enquire if you could do me a favour.
My father collets sand from different countries all over the world and I so wanted to bring him also some sand from Bournemouth.
It's so annoying that I forgot it, because it would be really nice to have some sand from the destination where I spent my first holiday alone.

I'd like to ask if you could collect some sand from Bournemouth for me and put it into the plastic bag and the small packet which I sent you.
I also sent you some money for paying the postage.

It would be so nice, if you could do that for me.

Ich habe mal nur das Wichtigste verbessert. Der Rest ist verständlich, und Deine Freunde kennen ja nun Deine Englishkenntnisse.

Wo ich nicht sicher bin: Hast Du den Plastikbeutel, das Päckchen und das Geld den Freunden bereits geschickt? So hört sich das nämlich an. Falls diese Dinge erst Deinem Brief beigelegt werden, muß es heißen: ... and put it into the enclosed plastic bag and the parcel. I am also enclosing some money for the postage.
